SASDA goes to HAITI

In March 2013, Sensei Donnie traveled to Haiti to spread his knowledge of martial arts. Following two of his students to this small island country, he taught several classes and seminars in the concepts and movements of Kenpo. His students Robert Negron and Gabriel Pallo are original members of Indy Convergence, a not-for-profit artist community based out of Indianapolis, IN. This satellite dojo, Sa-K-La-Ka-Wel, near Jacmel, Haiti really took off when Kenpo became a part of the community’s every day life. During his short stay, Sensei Donnie shared his love of Kenpo with students of all ages while trying to instill the same concepts and mindset he does at the Shaolin American Self Defense Academy in North Hollywood, CA.
