Sensei Lucas Presents: A Doce Pares Stick Fighting Seminar

Senior Grandmaster Ron Lew will be teaching a stick-fighting seminar in the art form of Eskrido, a highly skilled system created in 1948 by SGM Cacoy Canete. The system continues to be improved and refined because to understand the technique, it requires a different process and approach as well as the change in our mindset. SGM Ron Lew is a member of the core group that breaks down this highly masterful art to an approachable understanding.

The Seminar will breakdown the process to aid in the students understanding of this art form with a focus on the follow topics :
1. Hit Patterns, left hand usage in conjunction creating openings
2. Multiple Disarms, feeling the flow of resistance that leads into disarm application
3. Eskrido / Countering, as an Art: footwork, body angles, leverage and the most important, the left hand is the key.
