First Female Black Belt at SASDA!
SASDA
February 12th, 2016
A black belt is not something that is given, it is earned. Through years of training, hard work, blood, tears and sweat, one can earn this honor. On February 9, 2016, Ms. Alexandra Yates is the first female at the Shaolin American Self Defense Academy to receive her black belt. Ms. Yates started in the Shaolin Kempo system and transitioned over to the American Kenpo Syllabus for an even more comprehensive knowledge of the martial arts. With many years of dedication, Alex definitely worked for this accomplishment. The journey of black belt is not one that everyone can take. Many start, but few finish.
Congratulations on this huge milestone. Now, let the training begin!
